Wow!  Another month flew right by!!  The season changed as we checked off our Two Month Anniversary of being Nebraska residents.  Oh, did I tell you that we had to become Husker fans??

We had no choice!!  Jared and Stephanie gave us a gift basket as a housewarming gift and it was jam packed with Husker items!  I don't mind telling you that Nebraska fans are a little nuts!!  My friend called it "loyalty," but I call it fan-atic!!

We are settled in a little bit more!  The house is nearly decorated.  We actually have window treatments now instead of paper shades.  There are a few more pictures on the walls and now we can stop the shopping!!  Did I actually say that??

Dave and I took our bikes to Nebraska City for "Apple Jack Days."  It was a beautiful day to mill around and take in all the festivities.

That's Dave there on the right!!

We didn't actually pick apples that day but went back a week later when the kids had a day off from school.  We had a fun day picking apples and taking pictures.

A fun day out with the kids!!

We enjoyed having Pat and Kathy Nauroth come and spend a few hours with us!!

If you visited us in September and I did not get your picture, I apologize.  I promise to do so next time!!

We enjoyed going to Jagger's football game in South Sioux.  He's number 48.  It's those shoulder pads that make him look so grown up, right?

Well, there's a recap of September from the Horken House.  Each day we feel a little more at home here in Papillion.  We have met some nice people so that's what really makes us feel at home.

If you haven't stopped by for a visit, give us a call.  Love to see you!!
